Artist: Jason Brammer (Our nephew) - Website: www.JasonBrammer.com
In addition to paintings, Jason has created mixed media, painting installations for art exhibitions as well as permanent site-specific installations for commercial spaces. His largest permanent installation to date is at the I.V. Lab Recording Studio in Chicago. This installation, titled The Future Is Recording Over My Pasture, consists of 6 large paintings on canvas, connecting mural artwork, tubing, wood constructions, antique pulleys, and other integrated objects. Jason also does a lot of commissioned paintings, murals, album artwork, band posters, and more. His most recent commissions include a large, exterior mural titled United We Flowin Rogers Park, Chicago and concert posters for the bands My Morning Jacket as well as Robert Plant & The Band Of Joy.
Jason made this piece for clients of ours who are really into sailing. He incorporated actual parts from their old sail boat, including the handles, pulley, and marlin twine, and painted an antique nautical map into the “window” of the painting.

This is an original concert poster design for the band My Morning Jacket. A limited edition of 134 posters were sold at the concert on October 22, 2010 at Terminal 5 in New York City. At this show, they played their whole album "Z", so the concept for the poster is that the band is a mechanical power station that is powering a future city off in the distance and the window to this futuristic city is "Z".The poster design was based on Jason’s original painting of the same title, “My Morning Jacket: Powering The Future”.
